It is situated in a quiet part of a unique village, which has a sea dock, adjacent to the Lune Estuary and canal basin on a branch arm of the Lancaster Canal. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and anyone who likes all aspects of wildlife, boating and the sea. We are 5 m. south of the historically important University town of Lancaster. The village has a pub, village store and cafes.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Lodge view cottage ,is a cottage with ground and first floor accommodation upstairs are 3 bedrooms one double and 2 twin , with a bathroom with bath and over bath shower there is an additional WC downstairs. along with a lounge , Kitchen diner with all appliances ,outside is a patio area where there are table and chairs and use of a BBQ. The cottage has WFI and car park at the side . It is situated in the beautiful valley of Quernmore on a working dairy farm.

The cottage is in the small village of Gressingham in the beautiful Lune valley and Forest of Bowland AONB. There is easy access to both the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales national parks. In addition the attractions of Kirkby Lonsdale, the historical city of Lancaster and RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss are only 15-20 minutes away. Gressingham is a small, picturesque village and makes the perfect location for walkers, cyclists and those wanting a country break.
