The house is over a 100 years old, but the interior remodel has all the modern conveniences you need to make yourself at home while you enjoy all Bristol has to offer! Rogers National Recreation area which provides opportunities such as fishing, hiking, biking and horseback riding. Bears can sometimes be seen crossing the road or strolling thru the fields Damascus and Mountain City are only minutes away! Our place offers a big yard to enjoy along with a fire pit with firewood furnished. Cornhole and board games are also available. A nice sitting area on the covered back porch to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Welcome to Bob’s Bridge, our Hidden Valley Hideaway. We hope you’ll enjoy sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee in the morning and watching the mist rise up from the stream the bridge crosses. Don’t be surprised if you see a flock of turkeys or a handful of deer wandering around. They appreciate the stone bridges and walls built by hand by Bob, who loved all nature. The Cottage at Historic Sutherland Manor est. 1807

(Please note the siding is being redone on the farmhouse in front of the cottage so there will be construction noise at times) This farm cottage is located on a historic 40 acre farmstead behind a beautiful farmhouse (which is under renovation) with views of The Peak, Ashe County’s highest mountain. We are bordering Elk Knob State Park and a 10 minute drive to the park entrance. The farm is located in the historic Sutherland valley district and was built in 1807 by Thomas Sutherland.

Watauga River Cottage in Johnson City, TN

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly water front river cottage (Approximately 1,700sf)! Bring your fishing pole and relax! We have Kayaks and life jackets available upon request at no charge (life jackets required!). Enjoy some time on the hammocks by the river or step into the hot tub on the deck over looking the river. Please note we do have a video camera overlooking the driveway as well as overlooking the stairway and river bank below the river cottage.

This 1100 sq ft home is very cozy and quiet and only a 10 minute drive to the Bristol Race Track and the Pinnacle Shopping Center, 15 minutes from downtown Bristol and 10 minutes from Bristol Regional Hospital. Also, only a 10-15 minute drive to Kingsport where Holston Valley Hospital is and a 20 minute drive to Johnson City. Asheville, North Carolina is just an hour and 15 minutes away. Sevierville, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Dollywood are also an hour and a half away.
