Private cottage with 13 foot ceiling and polished floor boards kept in original state. The host is lodged at the back of the property - separate from your section of the house. The cottage is private and one level with no stairs - ideal for older folks and families with babies. It has 2 bedrooms, one with Queen bed & the other Double bed and King Single. Centrally located close to John Hunter hospital, shops, sporting stadium, entertainment centre and University. Five minute walk to New Lambton village shops with IGA supermarket, pub, great coffee shops/cafes, and restaurants. Ten minute walk to McDonald Jones sports precinct and hockey stadium. Ten minute drive to Newcastle and beaches.

Merewether relaxation

A lovely private space to relax and enjoy. This is the downstairs area of my home and is only used by guests. The living room is spacious, has a lovely sunny outlook in the morning, and has a picturesque view over Merewether to the ocean. The bedroom has a lovely comfortable queen bed with quality linen. The house is 5 min(15min walk) from Merewether beach, ocean baths and known walking trails. Note: 2026 there is a building development close by and you may experience some noise disturbance.
