Surely the highest cottage, at 1200m altitude, in the Cederberg with spectacular views of the Koue Bokkeveld and the Cederberg. It is set against a mountain peak surrounded by pristine Cape flora. A place of retreat and deep silence. The cottage, with its beautiful woodwork and stonework, belongs to another era. As with other tracts of wild Africa, we do have some dangerous animals around, including elephant, the odd lion, leopard and venomous snake, although it is not often that we see the latter.
