Our tiny cabin is located on a 14 acres property in the middle of the woods. You will enjoy complete privacy and use of your own area on the land, including a pond. Located 2 min, from the Transcanada Trail, 20 min. walk to the Kinsol Trestle, a World Heritage Site with beautiful swimming holes right underneath the bridge. 20 min. to next Grocery store and 22-25 min to Duncan. Approx. 50 min- 1 hr to Victoria. Pottery lessons are available by request if you have always wanted to try it out.

A stay at the Granary comes with a tour of the Keating farm if you choose! Our guests have loved learning about the history and future of the farm. The cabin is designed for a cozy place to unwind, relax and be your Cowichan home base. This is a 2 bedroom, pet friendly suite with full kitchen & laundry. Check in and out as you please with the separate entrance but rest assured, we’re right upstairs if you need anything! Please Note: This space is not appropriate for small children or those with mobility challenges.

With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created.
