Example review: Fantastic apartment, wonderful views 5* We loved our stay here for two weeks. Views were spectacular and it was so peaceful and tranquil. Like a home away from home, spacious and light, and the AC was a blessing during the heatwave. Views stunning over the lovely pool area and ocean. Even had the good luck to see a pod of dolphins.

The Gato Preto de Silves is a charming rural retreat in the Silves countryside, with only 3 independent cabins and 1 annex surrounded by lush gardens, reserved for adults only. It's located a few km from the centre and close to the beautiful beaches. Each unit can host 2-3 guests max. On clear days you can can see the ocean and on the other the Monchique Mountains. If you love the simple beauty of lush nature, the stars and the silence at night which only allows to listen to the sound of the owle and the fox, you are just right with us. Very well located (magnificient view to the lake) this lodge is very well equipped (air conditioner in all rooms, dishwaher, plasma TV, etc…). It has large windows open to the landscape, with lots of light, large and very comfortable and with a large deck. It has 2 rooms, one with a double bed and other with 2 single beds.

Of course we have wi-fi for the ones who want to post photos on instagram with our #herdadedomontum :) PS. Swimming pool is 400 meters from the cottage.
