We are in a dark sky preserve so star gazing can be added to your list of activities; hiking,fishing,swimming, boating,climbing,kayaking or just relaxing on the veranda with your feet up,watching the boats come in or listening to the loons on the bay.

Our Cabin is a 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, laundry, screen in porch with hot tub, tv with internet in living room and bedrooms. Wood stove, a fully equipped kitchen. Master bedroom has a king size bed that can be split to make 2 twin extra long. The second bedroom can be set up as king bed or 2 twins with trundle bed. The cabin is ground level for accessibility by wheel chair and the bathrooms are wheel chair friendly. Searchmont Resort is 5 km away. Ontario Snow mobile trails go through Searchmont.

Mountainview Lodge Caboose/Tiny Home

Nestled into the Algoma Mountains is our charming lodge. Our historic Algoma train Caboose is quite the experience as it's surrounded by mature spruce, birch and maple trees. Because of our unique location we are on a major flight path for northern migrating birds. We are along the sacred Goulais River, which is home to many different fish species all making their way to Lake Superior. This is some of the best fishing in the world. We also offer kayak and canoes to rent to explore the river.

You will find a beautiful four season off grid yurt(no electricity,running water), access to a fire pit and barbeque for cooking. Enjoy the river, sunsets, and incredible night skies as well as the wildlife, including otters, bears, deer, birds and bald eagles in the fall!

Our family friendly lake front cottage is located 40km east of Sault Ste Marie, the ideal space to escape and relax at. The cottage offers 3 bedrooms and 1 bath with open concept living areas. Enjoy wonderful views of the lake and mountains from the deck. Full access to private waterfront yard with a beachy area, fire pit and dock. Swimming, fishing and kayaking are a must. Bring life jackets for water play and worms for fishing. Many trails for ATVs out your back door.
