Nestled at the woods edge and named after our resident owl, Hooting Haus is a European styled cabin retreat close to all Penn State offers. The gourmet kitchen's rustic charm features a zinc island, butcher block counter and natural stone wall. Entertain guests at the artisan crafted pine table while dining next to the antique fireplace. Relax with a hot tub soak, then cap the evening sharing stories under an inky sky gathered round the fire pit with a soothing hot toddy or mug of creamy cocoa.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Our Tiny Aframe with bathhouse has everything you need to comfortably spend that amazing night with your significant other. The 12’ x 16’ Aframe has a very cozy, floating style queen bed. Also has a small kitchen area with microwave, stove top, mini fridge and freezer as well as a full set of kitchen supplies. All this is only a short walk (100 yds) from our private lake were you can enjoy kayaking, fishing and/or watching the sunsets.

The cabin is located only 20 miles from Penn State University, making it the ideal place to stay while attending events at University Park. Nestled between Bald Eagle State Park and Black Moshannon State Park, this is the perfect getaway for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the great outdoors. Firewood (for the firepit) is included.

The Whittled Duck River Camp property features 200 feet of river frontage, a deck overlooking the Clarion River and everything you need for a peaceful retreat. The cabin is located upstream from both Clear Creek and Cook Forest State Parks, 15 min from Loletta and next door to the Allegheny National Forest. Here you will find quiet and seclusion while staying close enough to enjoy all the recreational opportunities you love! Landline can be used by guests unable to get cell coverage.

Riverbend Cabin~ Allegheny Island Wilderness Area

Located at the end of a quiet lane, with a stunning view of the Allegheny River, our riverfront cabin is the perfect getaway to relax with family and friends. Nestled right between Tidioute and Warren, our cabin is close to many sites within the National Forest: Buckaloons, Heart's Content, Rocky Gap, etc. There's also a great view of Crull's Island, a 96 acre paradise within the Allegheny Wilderness Area. Be on the lookout for heron, osprey, waterfowl, deer, and the amazing bald eagle!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place located on the Allegheny River. Stay for hunting and fishing trips with friends. Bring your boat and launch it right in front of the cabin. Get your supplies at the local Trading Post (fire wood, groceries and more). Bring your ATV and enjoy the trails only a few miles away from the place. You have more guests? Welcome to our Creekside Cottage! I have called this place home for most of my life, playing in the back yard, waving at the steady stream of kayakers or going creeking and exploring the islands. Nowadays, I still adventure out with my kids but you'll also find me kicking back and enjoying the sights from the big picture window or out on the back deck watching the sunset. Welcome to the Downstream Dome! Our newly constructed geodesic dome allows you to wake up to a one of a kind view of the gorgeous Allegheny River, all while feeling nestled in with nature. The Dome includes one Queen bed, one bathroom, dining area, full kitchen, outdoor patio area with a hot tub, grill, and fire pit.
