The Stag Hut

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. The beautiful Stag Hut is situated within stunning Glen Urquhart with outstanding views, walks and beautiful scenery all around. The stag Hut has been created with a passion for the animal that often roams the fields that surround the shepherds hut. Beautifully decorated the hut has a double bed, fully equipped kitchen with a hob and microwave, no oven. Its own bathroom, shower, toilet and sink. Towels and bedding all provided. Room for one Dog

Trinity Cottage - Moriston River Frontage

Hi and welcome to Moriston River Cottages. Trinity Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. To ensure comfort and make sure everything needed is included, we've stayed in Trinity ourselves and we loved every minute. Trinity is located with a great view of Moriston River and 5 min from Loch Ness. We found sleeping to the sound of the river very therapeutic! Sitting outside or viewing the river from inside Trinity was spectacular. The King size beds were both very comfortable as well as the bedding.

Set in a beautiful Glen, within walking distance of local amenities: including cafes and local shop . Local hotels also serve food in the evenings if you don't feel like cooking. The quite scenic side of Loch but half way between Inverness and Fort Augustus, so lots to see and do. Visit the Falls of Foyers and access the South Loch Ness Trail. Own transport advisable.

Cherrytrees Chalet is set in the heart of the Highlands, close to Drumnadrochit, on a quiet, south facing hillside with spectacular views of Glen Urquhart and Loch Ness. The chalet is in its own private garden, in a broadleaf forest on a working croft near Drumnadrochit. The village has bars, restaurants, cafes, shops, and an exhibition centre. Castle Urquhart, Loch Ness and Inverness are also close by. The Chalet is well-equipped, warm and comfortable, a place to relax and feel at home.

It is now a luxury two-bedroomed self-contained ground floor apartment – a 3 minute drive from the centre of Fort Augustus.

Brachkashie Cottage on a loch

Brachkashie Cottage is situated on the edge of a private loch with incredible views overlooking Loch Knockie. The cottage has its own jetty, rowing boat and direct access to Loch Knockie, including fishing rights for brown trout during the season. Walk through the front door, down the stairs into the main living area and you will be taken into another world! The panoramic view of the loch and hills beyond is very special. One of the regular guests describes it as the best view in Scotland.

Unique self catering holiday on a working Highland Croft situated 20 miles from Inverness, 5 miles from Loch Ness and 13 miles from Fort Augustus. Views include the Monadhliath Mountains and Loch Mhor. You will be situated in a relaxing environment with our sheep and poultry and where you may spot an occasional bird of prey soaring overhead. Urquhart Bay Barn, situated at the Urquhart Bay Viewpoint, is a charming and spacious self-catering renovation, with two bedrooms (one can be either two single beds or a king size bed), completed to a very high standard, with stunning views across Loch Ness and Glen Urquhart from the dining area window and gardens. We are just a few minutes walk from the iconic Urquhart Castle. The Barn itself is built with stone taken from Urquhart Castle in the late 1800s.

The Knockie Cottage is a 2-bedroom cottage with bathroom and private access. Enjoy the views of the Highlands (approx 27 miles from Inverness) with its beautiful open countryside and mountains. Just outside you have Loch Knockie that attracts a variety of wildlife and is great for brown trout fly fishing. Enjoy fishing in the private Loch nan Lann. The Cottage is perfectly situated for exploring Loch Ness and enjoy hiking the beautiful hills.
