Cozy Redwood Cottage Near the Mendocino Coast

Our peaceful cottage is nestled among the redwoods, a few miles inland from the Mendocino Coast. High ceilings and skylights make this space feel spacious, offering natural light, and views of the majestic trees. The surrounding community is special, with many residents having lived here for decades, tending their homesteads. On your way in, you are likely to see cattle, horses, pigs, and chickens. Deer, coyote, foxes, mountain lions, owls, hawks, vultures, and bears also frequent the area.

The Philo Dome

The Dome is a wonderful getaway for families or a group of friends. It is a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom 2-story home in the heart of the Anderson Valley wine country. Gaze at the stars from the hot tub, sample some fruit from the orchard, explore the redwoods and suspension bridge, swim in the Navarro River and visit local wineries and farms. A true country getaway! It shares the property with a cottage (periodically occupied by the owners), but maintains a feeling of privacy and has amazing views.

Crispin Cottage

A small but cozy cabin which is comfortable, warmed by our kerosene heater in the winter and with a small air conditioner for the heat waves of summer. The sunroom maintained by my sister is one of our guests favorite features. Our property is peaceful, with only my mother, sister and my sister's young grandson living in the two other dwellings on the three acre property. We offer complete privacy for those that prefer it; or for those that enjoy it, my mother loves visiting with our guests.

The Edwards were one of the first families to come from the Bay Area to find peace away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Conveniently located 15 minutes south of Mendocino, this property offers privacy with space to spread out between the houses. The hot tub and BBQ/ Fire pit area is shared with the guest house which sits below. This is a place to reflect, relax and recharge.
