Breathtaking views, gorgeous sunsets and stunning sunrises are plenty. The famous Te Apiti Wind Farm of the Manawatu can be seen from most parts of the property, along with the picturesque hills, old sheds and lush vegetation. Not to mention, it's a bird's paradise. Approximately 8-10 minute drive to the outskirts of town, Massey University, the IPU Tertiary Institute and to our local Summerhill shopping centre with a supermarket, takeaways, laundry, café’s and restaurants. Palmerston North's CBD is about 13 km's. Your private entrance leads to a guest suite attached to our house with a lounge, separate double and single bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchenette with basic supplies for preparing meals.

Kawau - House Upstairs - private area

Kawau is a new home built in the character style of the 1900's. Situated on 1.5 acres with a large lawn. Take the bridge over the Little Kawau stream to wander the paths of our garden or relax on our covered decks. We are adjacent to Schnell Wetlands walkways. 5 minutes from PN Airport and 10 minutes to Manfeild, the centre of Palmy, or Ashhurst for the famous Gorge Walk. We are unable to accommodate children under the age of 12.

The Cottage

A private self contained cottage in a rural setting. This restored 1930's cottage is very cosy and comfortable. A heat pump is available for those chilly nights. The Cottage is located on a lifestyle block approximately 14 km from the centre of Palmerston North. The cottage looks out over a pond and paddocks with ducks and sheep. Guest access is by keypad on the main entry gate to the property.
