Welcome to our remodeled, adorable, private, pet-friendly studio apartment which features a comfortable king-sized bed and kitchenette and is well located in the heart of downtown Arcata steps away from shops, pubs, restaurants, & attractions. The apartment is two blocks from the Arcata Plaza and Creamery District, near the North Coast Co-Op grocery store, and walking distance to the Arcata Marsh, Crabs Baseball, the Arcata Community Pool and Community Forest, Cal Poly Humboldt, & great cafes.

Best walkable location in Arcata & Bay View Studio

Your apartment is located downtown, below our home, you can walk to everything you need (3 blocks to Arcata Plaza, w/year round Farmer's Market, 6 blocks to Cal Poly, & half mile to Arcata Community Redwood Forest). It has a bay view, lots of light, & sleeps four (a queen bed & double sofa bed, w/a curtain dividing bedroom and living room). The kitchen has fridge, stove, microwave, toaster oven, cookware, coffee pot/Keurig, hot water pot. We're proud to be solar powered! Low cleaning fee. : )

Blue Lake Sanctuary

Surrounded by pastures, it's a short walk to the Mad River for swims and walks. The Mad River Brewery is less than a mile up the road. Excellent mountain biking is 1 mile away. In a 15 minute drive you can find the hip town of Arcata, surrounded by redwoods and hiking as well as a majestic coastline. Sundays 10 am to noon we host a family friendly ecstatic dance in the studio adjacent to the apartment. Expect music at that time. Come join us! Public Yoga classes are Tuesday & Saturday am.

Spend time among the redwoods near the fish pond in our elegant modern retreat with many artistic custom elements. Let the tension from the road melt away in our hot tub and spa like rain shower, then relax on our comfortable California King beds. Located in an upscale quiet neighborhood in the hills above Arcata, near extensive redwood hiking trails. Unwind in our sheltered outdoor living room, with a fire pit by the pond. **Please keep voices low out of consideration for the neighbors.**

Leave the car behind and head over to see the redwoods & trails at Redwood Park, the eclectic Arcata Plaza Farmers Market, Crabs & Cal Poly Humboldt. Hop in the car to see the dramatic Trinidad coastline, Ave of the Giants and local rivers! After a day of exploring rest well in your home away from home, fresh and clean, stylishly appointed, full kitchen, separate bedroom, outdoor seating and views of the bay.

Located in what locals call Northtown, our Arcata home is a perfectly situated home base. You will find several eateries, cafes and a natural food grocery store all within a two block walk. You can access the two bridges over to the Cal Poly Humboldt campus a few blocks away and just beyond campus is the Arcata Community Forest with towering redwoods. Downtown Arcata is just a seven minute walk down the hill where you will find more restaurants and unique shops on the plaza.

Just two blocks from the Plaza and in close walking distance (5 minutes or less) to the best farmers' market, grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, a creperie, an excellent independent movie theater, an art store, record and book stores, and within a 10-15 minute walk to Redwood Park and the Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary.
