The Hobbit House

The Hobbit House is a tiny house (15x11'); Full size bed, futon/couch, outdoor tub, shower, electric fireplace, patio, picnic table, fire ring, and outhouse with composting toilet. The patio overlooks a pond and is part of a 53 acre forested property in the Blue Ridge. WiFi is now included. Glamp in style! The main lodge is just up the driveway if you need to contact the host. The outdoor shower/tub is NOT fully enclosed or private, and may be turned off in a freeze. Nature lovers only!

A Dream by the Stream is a very private and rustic 2 Br/2Ba log cabin overlooking a bold stream on 10 beautiful and remote acres with walking trails, a pond with dock, campfire pit, and amazing garden stonescape. Our 750 sq ft. Cabin offers WiFi, streaming TV, central AC and heat, fully stocked kitchen, coffee provided, towels, comfortable bed and quality linens. We are 1/2 mile from the North Fork of New River. It's a perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy the mountains. Dogs welcome!

Hurricane Helene Update: We are incredibly fortunate that our property did not suffer damage from the storm and the main roads to and from our home are accessible. Internet and power have been restored, and our property is ready to offer a lovely refuge for anyone needing a temporary place to stay. We are devastated by the losses experienced in Western NC and encourage any locals to reach out with a message prior to booking if you want to spend a few days at the Hemlock. We want to help.

Greystone Cottage is dog-friendly, and a 5 min walk to restaurants/shopping in the historic town of West Jefferson. The cottage has a seasonal mountain view, large gated porch, hot tub, gas grill, and fire pit with edison lights illuminating the outdoor area at night. The cottage is equipped with keyless entry, fiber optic high speed internet, smart TVs, washer and dryer, mini-split A/C and heat, and a fully functional kitchen. The two bedrooms have Sealy memory foam mattresses (Queen).

Out of the Blue Cabin, A Mountain Escape

Out of the Blue Cabin cabin is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cabin located in quaint West Jefferson, NC. With stunning views, Out of the Blue Cabin is the perfect little getaway spot to relax and unwind from life's demands. It comfortably sleeps 5-6 (5 in beds and can accomodate an additional sleeper on the couch in the living room), has a fully functioning kitchen, gas grill, WiFi, TV, all with a rustic mountain feel. Bed linens, towels, washer and dryer are included in your stay.

The Travelers Suite is a luxurious 1590 square foot upstairs loft that offers breathtaking sights of the original hardwood floors, exposed brick, and the barn wood bar area that are simply gorgeous. We are 10 minutes to downtown West Jefferson or Blue Ridge Parkway entrance, 1/4 mile to New River State Park Elk Shoals river beach and 30 minutes to Boone NC. Local attractions like canoeing, kayaking and hiking all within 10 minutes or less. Onsite Yoga is available. TV is for streaming only.

Nestled in a high mountain meadow just above the New River, this 750 square foot cabin has plenty of amenities and nearly 20 acres for your own private Idaho...there are marked and cleared hiking trails...look for the entrance post to the left "1285." NOTE: GPS systems are sending people to the coordinates of the cabin and not the entrance road. Always come in via NC-16--John Halsey-Weavers Ford-East Weavers Ford.
