Le Petit Ruisseau, lovely comfortable holiday home

Situated in a small hamlet just outside the historic town of Domfront in the Normandy countryside this lovely holiday home consists of a large kitchen diner with fireplace and a lounge with a fireplace with wood burner on the ground floor. On the first floor are two light and airy en-suite double bedrooms, one has bunk beds. All rooms have views of the large garden that surrounds the property with several seating areas and a graveled terrace for outside dining. Plunge pool available in summer.

The house is a traditional Normandy longhouse, made of granite, wood and tile. There are 185 square meters of indoor space. The farmhouse has been sensitively restored using traditional materials. La Pichardiere sits in the heart of the Normandy countryside far away from busy traffic in a secluded two acre garden set in a corner of a regional park (equivalent to a National Park in UK) -- It is a place to escape from city life! I love its peacefulness and the presence of the natural world.

Suite dans une maison longère en pierre de Caen. Notre gîte n'est pas adapté pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. Dans un hameau du Pays d'Auge, à 2,5 kms du village, en bordure de route. La maison est entourée d'un grand terrain de 3000m2. Une grande haie entoure le terrain et isole de l'extérieur. Proche du Château de Canon à 7 kms, la mer (plage de Cabourg, Merville-Franceville, Ouistreham, ...) est à 30 min, Caen et Falaise sont rapidement accessibles. Le calme y est appréciable !

Mongol Yurt

Spend the night in a Yurt, in the Normand "Bocage", known for its landscape of orchards. The bathroom, kitchen and WC are separate units. We also have a few sheeps, a vegetable garden, and chickens. 1 hour from "Mont Saint Michel and 15mn from the spa town of Bagnole de l'Orne.
