Sitting above the valley we are always stunned by the silence and sunsets that bless our location. The pod itself is beautifully designed in shiplap wood, the interior offers a cosy bedroom area, a kitchen with smart use of space, a living and dining area with lots of natural light from a panoramic window and a bathroom with shower. A lovely modern studio apt with a seperate entry surrounded by beautiful gardens located near Lough Ree on the River Shannon 8km from Athlone. The location is 5 minutes walk to Glasson village with it's award winning pubs and restaurants including Grogan's and The Villiger as well as The Wineport Lodge. The renowned Golf Course and Glasson Lake House Hotel on the banks of Lough Ree is just 1.5km. If boating, sailing or fishing is an attraction there are several marinas within a few mins drive.

The Cottage

Beautifully renovated Rural cottage, Located 15 minutes from Roscommon town and 20 minutes from Castlerea. This is a cosy house, fully insulated, with central heating complemented by a solid fuel stove, with kindling, turf and firewood provided for your convenience to provide cosy evenings as the night draws to a close and you unwind for the evening. Ideally located for fishing- river Suck 10minutes away and facilities on site for preparation including locked shed.

Roscommon Community Hospital is directly opposite the property. Toys and swings are available for children to play with and a sheltered shed with a climbing wall in case of rain. The house has a heat recovery ventilation system, solar panels, solar heated hot water and Electric Vehicle Charger.
