Our quiet Hiawatha Log Home is clean and neat, with plenty of parking. The view is stunning of Lake Superior and AuTrain Island. Be sure to wake early for the sunrise. Lake Superior Cottage

This historic log cottage was originally built in the first part of the 1900’s as one of the early fishing camps of Shelter Bay. Over the years there have been numerous modern improvements, but much of the rustic charm, such as the large stone fireplace and the low ceilings and exposed rafters of the second story, remain…and the character does too. The shoreline is stones and boulders which make for lots of action and adds to the aesthetics that come from the sound of lapping waves.

Our cabin is set on the beautiful AuTrain river, just minutes from Lake Superior. It is fully equipped to make your stay relaxing and fun!
