Centrally located in Renfrew, only a quick walk to main street shopping, the Renfrew Fair Grounds, and local trail systems. This ground floor, one bedroom apartment features a kitchen, separate entrance, and driveway with parking for 1 vehicle. Small two piece bathroom and small shower (similar in size to what you would find in a camping trailer) as well, all within the unit. Couch in living room also pulls out for an extra sleeping space. Family / pet-friendly lakeside cabin on Black Donald Lake! Hot tub, fire pit, enclosed deck, dock, cottage games = the ultimate cottage trip! Lake frontage, boat launch on the property and no neighbours on either side of the property. PLEASE NOTE before booking - this is an older cottage in a rural setting so you will likely run into critters / bugs / mice, etc. We would not recommend booking if seeing these would ruin your trip!

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.

The Timber Oasis is a handcrafted timber frame retreat on 4 private acres with sweeping valley views, just 5 minutes from Lake Clear. Soak in the covered hot tub under the stars, cozy up by the wood stove, and enjoy radiant heated floors and wall to wall windows. Sleeps 6 in 2 bedrooms with queen bunk beds. Our clean and cozy cottage has a beautiful sun porch and comfortably sleeps four people. We are situated on a quiet lake with great swimming and fishing. A paddle boat is available for free. Just 1 1/2 hours outside of Ottawa. We are only 20 minutes away from the award winning Whitetail Golf Course. There are two kayaks available for rent for $35/day each.
