The area is renowned for its water activities which include fishing, boating, sailing and scuba diving.Hill walking trails and cycling are also very popular.

Two miles from village with pub/restaurant and lough Derg famous for fishing and boating. Fresh homemade scones on arrival.

Killaloe also serves as a base for exploring Nenagh, Limerick and Galway.
