It has a small paved terrace for admiring the view. It is within a mile of Pitt Hall Barn, also close to Oakley Hall, Highclere Castle and Newbury Racecourse to name but a few. Dogs welcome by agreement.

Stonehenge, Highclere Castle and the Bombay Sapphire Distillery are all near, as well as the quaint market towns of Stockbridge and Hungerford and the ancient cathedral city of Winchester.

Clappers Farm is a 17th century farmhouse located on a quiet country road on the Hampshire/Berkshire border. Set in 35 acres of its own land then surrounded by further farmland, there are various outbuildings mainly used for stabling . Silchester Brook meanders through the property and attracts wildlife from kingfishers and swallows to deer. There is a huge network of picturesque footpaths and cycle routes accessible from the front gate of the farm. Dogs and horses are welcome.
