The Bayside Farm

During travel I look for character and authenticity, and I hope to offer these to you during your stay while you visit our beaches, redwoods or the University. Private studio has a separate entry next to our 1904 farmhouse-queen bed, WIFI, private bathroom, kitchenette with electric tea kettle, airfryer/griddle and microwave. I provide organic/local coffee, cream, tea, sugar and will have some other goodies for you which will not be restocked during your stay. Please non smokers only and no pets

The ultimate gathering place! Centrally located, yet in a private neighborhood. Just minutes from hwy101, and minutes from either Eureka or Arcata. The house is a perfect jump off point for adventuring, and is the perfect space to come back to. Spacious and spread out, multiple wings of the house allow for privacy even with a larger group. Multiple sliding doors lead out to the many outdoor and patio areas, making it perfect for an indoor outdoor flow. The backyard is private and fully fenced.

The Guest House

Nestled within the Jacoby Creek valley, near Humboldt Bay, with easy access to Arcata or Eureka; immersed in leafy surrounds, offering a variety of hiking and walking trails, perfect for nature lovers; this Guest House ensures peace and quiet while being only a very short drive to all amenities. The oversized covered front porch provides a weather protected outside living room area, ideal for gathering with friends and to enjoy the ducks and chickens that amble the expansive country yard.

Spend time among the redwoods near the fish pond in our elegant modern retreat with many artistic custom elements. Let the tension from the road melt away in our hot tub and spa like rain shower, then relax on our comfortable California King beds. Located in an upscale quiet neighborhood in the hills above Arcata, near extensive redwood hiking trails. Unwind in our sheltered outdoor living room, with a fire pit by the pond. Please keep voices low out of consideration for the neighbors.

Wake up to the redwoods, head into town to enjoy a cappuccino at a local coffee shop, located only 15 minutes away from the Arcata Plaza, come back to enjoy a dip in the hot tub, then get a goodnights rest on our memory foam mattress, 100% cotton sheets and memory foam pillows. 2nd set of sheets & pillows will only be included for 3+ guests! 4/20 friendly :) Property is shared with our main cabin. NO FIRES ALLOWED - anyone who breaks this rule will be fined $300.

The Surf Sanctuary retreat is minutes away from remote beaches and redwoods. Please note: Redwood Park is 30 minutes away. The sanctuary is a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom guest house with a full kitchen and bathroom. We are located within a 5 minute drive to the beach, and 30 minutes away from Redwood State and National Parks. Whether you’re adventuring or just passing through, this charming retreat has everything you need. Nestled on a quiet country road, it feels far from town yet is only 4 easy miles from Arcata—home of Cal Poly Humboldt—and 6 miles from Eureka. The clean, freshly decorated space features a queen-sized bed and a full-size futon-style couch, both reported to be very comfortable!

Redwood Coast Farmhouse

Come down our hundred foot long, private driveway. On the other side of the green gate, is our 9 acre small scale, working farm/ranch. Pull in and park in your two designated parking spots. The furnishings are very tasteful, mid century, modern. Organic linens and bedding help make things comfortable.
