It is the only house in Knockma Widlife park and forest trail with many miles of wonderful walks. A short drive to the many wonders of Galway, it sleeps 6-8 people and there is no street lights to mar your enjoyment of a night sky. Knockma is an exceptional place where archaeology, history, folklore, natural history & panoramic scenery are combined.

Beautiful shepherds hut powered by solar for an off grid experience along the Wild Atlantic Way situated on Connemara farm land located 20 minutes from Galway city and 10 minutes from Oughterard and Lough Corrib. Sleeps 3 with a double bed and a single bed. Kitchenette with running water and gas hob, separate fire pit/BBQ area and outhouse with toilet, sink and heated shower. There is a small wood burning stove in the Shepherds hut with kindling provided. Towels and bedding are also provided.
