Welcome in our charming cottage with the sounds of the little river, frogs and the ocean in the background. Betty's Bay is well known for its unspoiled nature, mountain, fynbos, beaches, lakes and gorgeous African (jackass) penguins. The penguins are within walking distance. The famous Harold Porter Botanical gardens is 5 minutes drive away. Betty's Bay has endless hiking, surfing, angling and snorkeling opportunities. A local grocery store is about 700 metres from the house.

Complimentary Tokara wine on arrival with cheese, local nuts and fruits. Basic breakfast supplies provided: coffee, milk, eggs, bread, yogurt, muesli, rusks, orange juice. Bathroom: Soap, shower gel, shampoo, body lotion provided.

Inside, cozy spaces include a fireplace and a spacious entertainment room. An attached flat for two guests has a small kitchenette. Enjoy nearby penguins, Stony Point Nature Reserve, and fantastic surfing.

The beauty of Betty’s Bay in the Kogelberg biosphere is sure to revive your mind, body and soul! Great experiences await you, the botanical gardens, penguins, Overstrand wine farms, hiking, mountain biking or lazing on the beach, and you have the ultimate holiday destination with a variety of activities. Agapanthus House is 400m from Draadbaai in Betty's Bay, and we are "off the grid". The house is equipped with solar, gas and a conservancy tank.

Bayview

Relax and unwind! Enjoy an early morning cuppa while gazing at endless view of False Bay and mountains with the sound of waves and birdsong. You might even get lucky with dolphin or whale sightings! Indulge in sundowners on the north-facing veranda with built-in braai sheltered from the elements. The house is equipped with a mini inverter, WIFI and a smart TV as well as a DSTV dish (bring your own decoder). Easy walk to the beach and village.

Seaside Sanctuary

Perfect home for re-connecting with friends and family, with a pool for the summer and fireplaces for the winter. The sand dunes are 15 meters from the house, and the beach a 3 minute walk Great for 1 or 2 families with up to 6 children, or 3 couples. Please note: not suitable for more than 6 adults. The house is set up with a well equipped kitchen, in- and outdoor braai, board/lawn games and a TV with Netflix.
