Hurricane Helene Update: We are incredibly fortunate that our property did not suffer damage from the storm and the main roads to and from our home are accessible. Internet and power have been restored, and our property is ready to offer a lovely refuge for anyone needing a temporary place to stay. We are devastated by the losses experienced in Western NC and encourage any locals to reach out with a message prior to booking if you want to spend a few days at the Hemlock. We want to help.

The New River runs directly in front of the property and provided unique access to pristine, hatchery supported trout fishing. We are ten minutes from Appalachian Ski Mountain and two miles from downtown Boone with easy access to 321. This retreat is the perfect getaway for exploring all the High Country has to offer. **Primary renter must be at least 25 years old

Cozy tent with electric heat and AC. Double-layered, all-season 16'x16', by a waterfall near Boone Gorge Park. Only three minutes from Boone, yet away from it all. Minutes to App Ski Mtn, Tweetsie, and fishing. Port-a-john close by for bathroom. Shower hut with hot water basin when temperatures are above freezing. Rec center nearby. Firepit, complimentary firewood, picnic area, firewood, water, WiFi and electricity. Additional firewood and homemade cinnamon rolls available.
