Háafell Lodge

Welcome to Háafell Farm where we raise sheep, keep horses and have one friendly dog. Our private guest house is located 200 meters above the farm, up the mountain at 130 meters above sea level. It is a recently built (2020), 100 square meter, modern “turf house style” house. Háafell means “The High Mountain” and has a long river that cascades down its side with several tiers of waterfalls. It is a five minute walk to our canyon and it is possible to take a cold bath in one of the waterfalls.

Nónsteinn is one of three cabins that we own. Nónsteinn, Grásteinn and Grýlusteinn. Our cabins are a perfect getaway place to enjoy the nature at it fullest while relaxing with a breathtaking view. Perfect for newly weds, couples or friends. Kirkjufell - Kirkjufellsfoss - Snæfellsjökull - Water cave - lava fields - black beaches - bird life - whale watching - Mountain view - northern lights - sunset , wonderful restaurants and so much more that you can experience here or near by.

House in lava

Wooden, warm house for six people. Perfectly integrated into the lava field at the foot of the extinct GRABROK volcano, which you can enter almost straight from home :). Beautiful views and silence. Only the sounds of nature can be heard. An ideal place to observe the northern lights (no city lights). Just 300 meters from the main road No. 1. Fully equipped kitchen. Perfectly clean drinking water flows from the tap. The jacuzzi is already working :) There are bubbles and it's nice :) !!!

Krumsholar farmstay 2 bedroom apartment

The apartment is spacious and comfortable with everythink you might need for your stay. The apartment is located on a farm 7 km from Borgarnes and 80 km from Reykjavik. The farm is 1 km from road nr 1. The view from the apartment and the surrounding area is very beutyfull. We have horses, chickens and dogs on the farm. The horses are very friendly and love attention. This is a very good spot to view the northern lights from late august-april if the sky is clear we can usually see them.

Aurora Horizon Retreat

A quiet and peaceful getaway with amazing ocean views. Located in the beautiful fjord called “Hvalfjörður”. Only a 45 minute drive from the capital. The interior was completely renovated in 2024. You can relax in the hot tub and enjoy amazing views of the horizon during the summer and you might see the northern lights during the winter. It's a perfect location for day trips to discover the Snæfellsnes peninsula and the silver circle and it's not far from the golden circle either.

The Farm House is part of Hvammsvik Nature Resort & Hot Springs, a gated 1200 acre estate along the coast enjoying spectacular nature and views, only 45 min away from Reykjavik. Himri the mountain villa

Stunning villa with amazing 360 views, great location close to the golden circle and the capital region (only 30 min drive). The villa has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and sleeps 10 people. Himri is very spacious (300 sqm) and has everything you could wish for - a fully equipped gym and game room, a sauna and a hot tub. We just bought the villa and just finished a complete renovation. Additionally, a total of 4 dogs live, work and play on the farm. This is a working farm so don't be alarmed by tractors and all sorts of farm noise and smells.

Welcome to the newly renovated farmhouse in Esjuberg, where you sleep by the roots of the mountain. This house truly has it all, from a beautiful ocean view, horses in the backyard, and a phenomenal view over Reykjavik. Esjuberg plays a big part in a very interesting Icelandic Viking story called the Kjalnesinga Saga. In this story, a woman named Esja lived here along with her foster son Búi, who became a very mighty man.
