The village benefits from being a cul-de-sac so has no through traffic It has easy access to the beach in the harbour and further beaches a 5 minute walk away as well as the local tea room and restaurant. Within walking distance, there is Porthmadog where there are shops as well as a maritime museum and two steam railways - Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland. There are also many walks nearby.

Tegfryn is located in the outstanding and unspoilt village of Borth y Gest. The semi-detached house benefits from incredible sea and mountain views and has been awarded a 5 star rating by Visit Wales. Tegfryn sleeps 8 people (plus one cot). There is spacious living accommodation downstairs with a kitchen/ diner, a front lounge, a rear sitting room and a WC. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs; two king (one with en-suite), one twin and one bunk. There is also a family bathroom located upstairs.

Beautiful newly converted barn in stunning location with the best views in Snowdonia. A luxury retreat from where you can see Harlech Castle, Harlech Beach, Portmeirion, the Llyn Peninsular and even Bardsey Island. Underfloor heating, large smart TV, excellent WiFi. Incredible walks from the house or ideal for exploring the attractions of Snowdonia by car. Not suitable for very young children. Note there is a sheep shed next door but this is not used at all, leaving you to enjoy total peace.

The Barn at Tan Y Rhiw nestles in the Nanmor valley, surrounded by ancient woodland, with spectacular views of Moel Ddu. A safe place to retreat from the world, and reconnect with nature, over two miles from the main road. Relaxing in the private garden listen to owls hooting or cuckoos calling. Walking from the door leads you to an old drovers track, or higher up through bilberry scrub to Cnicht, the Welsh Matterhorn, or along lanes and paths to secluded swimming spots in rivers and lakes.

Ffermdy Bach is a self contained cottage adjoining our Welsh farmhouse. It has a separate entrance and garden so you can enjoy your holiday undisturbed. You are only 5 minutes walk from the coastal path and beautiful beaches of Borth y Gest. There's so much to explore and see in the area: Snowdonia, Portmeirion, castles, narrow gauge railways in nearby Porthmadog and if you are looking for more excitement try the zip wires at Blaenau and Llanberis. Glan -Y - Don is a sea front, 3bedroom & 3bathroom (one located downstairs), dog friendly cottage in North Wales. I was fortunate to grow up in this special home and village. My family and I, now based in North Carolina always love to come back! There are two very comfortable living rooms, a dining room, and a large kitchen. The view of the bay and the mountains beyond from the front rooms is unbeatable. Enjoy an easy walk to the numerous small sandy bays, quiet coves or to Porthmadog.
