The Den

The Den 6 Foxcombe Close, is a spacious, highly specified purpose built retreat in the quiet village location of Swanmore. Less than half an hours drive to the hustle and bustle of Portsmouth, Southampton or Winchester whilst being surrounded by beautiful country side. With both the New Forest and South Downs National Parks within Hampshire there really is something for everyone. Did someone say PUB, no shortage of drinking holes round here, we could walk to ten but probably only back from four!

Small but well equipped kitchen with essentials provided. EV charger on site. Metered. Pay for what you use as per our service provider costs. If the Cow Shed is full then look up the Hay Loft. River Rose Retreat is a cute and cosy shepherds hut, located along side the stunning river Hamble, in the quaint village of Botley. The Shepherds Hut, which is within walking distance from Botley village and train station, has it's own garden with hot tub, seating area and fire pit, surrounded by trees whilst gazing out on to the river. Although we adore dogs ourselves, unfortunately no dogs are allowed.

The Cottage has been recently extended and refurbished with everything you will need to make your stay enjoyable. A perfect place for a break to explore all the wonderful things that Winchester has to offer!

Perfectly located between Southampton and Portsmouth, with lovely walks, pubs, restaurants and the Hamble River less than a 10 minute walk away. We have large spacious rooms with a fully equipped modern kitchen. We have private parking for 2 cars and the property faces the woodlands that make for lovely strolls.
