The Retreat has a private garden located by a brook that is fed by the White Spring. A perfect place to watch wildlife or just rest & relax. This very charming, cosy and rustic log cabin is located on a private lake on the outskirts of a quiet family farm in North Chideock, just 5 minutes drive from the Jurassic Coast. The tranquil surroundings make this place the perfect romantic getaway for couples and an amazing place to spend a holiday as a family. Various wildlife and lifestock are frequent visitors of the cabin including our resident heron. Enjoy a drink on the sun deck and watch the sunset over the fields from the hot tub.

It has a unique position right on the beach on a raised elevation, throw open the balcony doors and you are looking out onto the ever changing sea and stunning coastline which is a World Heritage site and area of outstanding natural beauty. Two fine pubs supplying excellent food and locally brewed ales in the village and amazing cliff path walks East or West. Now a bookable sauna on the beach and free parking can be arranged

With this cabin, you can expect a home from home feel. The cabin is located on a working farm, so you can expect farm vehicles driving in and out, we also have cows on the farm, they can be noisy from time to time (but mostly when its time to be fed.) The Wyld cabin is located centrally to Charmouth, Axminster and Lyme Regis. Brilliant for a base to enjoy scenic walks and explore the Jurassic coast.
