Minutes away from Inverness, Cabot Links & the most beautiful beaches on our island This unit sleeps 4 comfortably but has the option to sleep 1 additional person on the couch if sharing a smaller space is not a concern We’re the perfect last stop when travelling the Cabot Trail from East to the West side of the island & we’re only a short drive to the mainland when leaving or if you prefer to start your Cape Breton adventure travelling up the west coast we are on your way to the Cabot Trail

The Black Cabin - Along the Cabot Trail

Nestled on 110 acres, the Black Cabin overlooks Nyanza Bay and Caines Pond along the beautiful world famous Cabot Trail. It’s centrally located on Hunters Mountain, which makes exploring the island a breeze with everything you’d like to experience near. This private home comfortably sleeps 4 people with one bathroom and two bedrooms: one on main level and the other in the spacious loft above the open concept dining area - it's a must experience location. Its cozy atmosphere Is truly unmatched!

The old trail cabin.

Situated on a hillside overlooking the historic St. Ann’s bay, the Old Trail cabin is conveniently located just 5.5km from the start of the Cabot trail and the Gaelic College. A great spot to start or finish your Cabot Trail adventures! The cabin is designed to feel as open and airy as possible for a small space. The bedroom has a queen bed and the loft has a single bed. Kitchenette has coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge and microwave. All amenities needed are only 15 mins away in Baddeck.

Moose & Merlin Glamping Cabin

A palace for seasoned campers, glamping for people who are less outdoorsy. Comfy queen bed, a mini wood stove, and a unique vibe built from scratch by a thrifty woman and her carpenter dad. There is electricity. No running water but a draining sink / water provided. No fridge but a cooler and endless ice packs available. No wifi in cabin itself but available a short walk away. There is cell service. An outhouse 25 seconds away. Full bathroom / shower available in separate cabin in main area.

Hummingbird Pod at Sally's Brook Luxury Eco-Resort

The Hummingbird Pod is a pet-friendly sleeping pod with a double bed and small pull out for 2 kids or 1 adult. This cabin is a 5-7 minute walk from the main parking lot, up-hill - which is why is has some of the best views! The Cookhouse is very closeby with Wi-Fi, basic staples like coffee & tea, everything you need to cook and store your food, and board games. The Washhouse is also closeby, with heated eco-friendly bathrooms and showers. Free access to wood-fired sauna and snowshoes!

Cabot Trail Wilderness Cabin | The Canopy

The Canopy is the 2nd largest of the 3 wilderness cabins, and closest to the washrooms, nestled among the forest which leads down to the waterfront. All the cabins sleep two people, with a personal fire pit, bbq, kitchenette, drinking water (although no running water), and all the amenities needed to spend a few nights in nature. The shared outdoor bathroom has been hand crafted with lots of natural light, a composting toilet (i.e. non-flushing), hot water shower and two sinks.

The 540 square foot studio style cottage features a fully supplied kitchen, queen-size bed, living room with a sofa, dining area, bathroom and a large patio with a private hot tub along with a BBQ and fire pit. During your stay you will be able to enjoy an incredible view overlooking the gorgeous Bras d'Or Lake and the mountains in the distance from the floor to ceiling windows. This is the perfect spot to simply relax yet have all the possibilities to adventure close by.

Located on Cheticamp Island and across from Cheticamp beach, Les Cabaneaux summer vacation cabins are perfect for a family vacation, girl week-ends or a romantic getaway. The sound of the waves, views of the mountains and magical sunsets will make you want to come back year after year. The cabin has been totally renovated, top to bottom, with modern ammendities, new appliances and kitchen and everything you will need to completly relaxe so you can enjoy the views.

Grab the provided tubes and take a scenic 2-minute walk down our private trail straight to the river! Our cozy cabin sleeps 4 and is completely pet-friendly—plus, we charge absolutely zero cleaning fees or pet fees, so you can enjoy your summer getaway without the hidden costs. We are situated 30 minutes outside Sydney and 30 minutes from the Cabot Trail. Please note that we have security cameras facing the front and back of property as well as the driveway.
