Enjoy a unique retreat for those with an adventurous side. Kayaks, inflatable SUP's, BBQ, snowshoes, a private summer tree pod, or lounge in the A-frame cabana overlooking the forest. Our place is designed for nature adventurers like us. Hike, paddle, swim, bike, fish, climb, & grill all in one day from this location. Not beachfront due to terrain.

Floor to near ceiling windows let you enjoy the waterfront, resident bald eagles, & otters from the comfort of the sofa. BBQ, & roast s’mores under cover at the gas grill & firepit on the deck, overlooking the private lagoon and Hood Canal. Nestled in the woods, it's a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle! Outdoor amenities abound, with a protected lagoon and bay, 5 paddleboards, a rowboat, pickleball court, as well as fire pits and charcoal grills at the beach and the lagoon too.

Darling apartment with separate entrance. The space is full of charm, with fireplace, private deck overlooking a garden, full kitchen, living space, bedroom, and bathroom. Perfect base camp for your visit to the Olympic Peninsula! Close to great hiking in the Olympic National Park and surrounding (access Staircase, Mt. Ellinor, Hama Hama, Lena Lake, Duckabush, etc.). Great diving, fishing, and kayaking, too. Steps from restaurants, gift shops, a local distillery, and coffee shop in Hoodsport.

McDonald Cove Cabin

Rustic cozy cabin. Open concept for easy entertaining with glorious views of the water. Main floor bedroom with Queen bed plus open loft with Queen bed. The cabin has one bathroom opposite the downstairs bedroom. Great outdoor living with two decks; front deck facing the waterfront. Use stairs to access the beach and boat house which houses two single kayaks, one double kayak, life jackets, and beach chairs for guest use. One exterior security camera, which monitors the driveway is present.

Weather-N-Heights Hood Canal Waterfront Retreat

Located just 60 miles north of Olympia on the on the scenic Hood Canal, Weather-N-Heights resort was lovingly built and enjoyed by my parents for many years. Recently updated to it's original splendor, it sits right on the shore with spectacular views looking south down the canal. This property has it all. Whether it is swimming, fishing or watching the local wildlife right from the deck or hiking, waterfalls and exploring everything the Olympic Peninsula has to offer within a short drive.

Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. This property may prove challenging for individuals with mobility issues. **Pricing is discounted due to ongoing improvements. The property is a farm in progress - you're welcome to walk the grounds and you'll find farm fresh eggs to welcome you. As you explore, be sure to have a picnic by the pond, walk the nature trails or play horeshoes with a view.

Besides a hot tub and sauna this property has an outside pergola with a fire table, bbq and wood fire pit. Perfect for those who enjoy peaceful days in woods and stargazing at night.

Relax at this peaceful beach getaway. Bring your paddle boards and head down the stairs to the water, or just enjoy the beautiful hood canal views from our deck. Under 10 miles north of Hama Hama, where you can pick up fresh local seafood and enjoy great cuisine. Close by to Lena Lake, Murhut Falls, Olympic National Park, Rocky Brook Falls, and many other attractions on the Hood Canal. We have three kayaks available (two single, one double) for guest use.

The Log House at Leaning Tree Beach

Located just south of Silverdale, this peaceful log cabin can be yours for the evening. Literally steps from the Puget Sound, you will sleep like a baby listening to the sound of the ocean waves and breeze through your window. Conveniently 10 minutes to the Bremerton/ Seattle ferry, and close to hiking trails and recreation in the Olympic Mountains. We have local recommendations available, and mooring options for boats.
