Our farmyard cottage is located right on the Ridgeway historic walking trail and is beside Barbury Castle. A rural and stunning location, yet only 10 mins from Swindon and M4 Jct 15, and also close to Avebury and the charming market town of Marlborough. This spacious, newly refurbished cottage is on a busy and bustling farm and racehorse training yard, so expect tractors and horses to be passing your window! Our English cottage dating from the 1700s is snug in winter and stunning in summer! With all mod-cons, Chicory Cottage is ideal for exploring the Cotswolds. We're on the edge of a small historic town, with countryside views from the garden. Malmesbury's pubs, restaurants and famous abbey are a short walk, or you can head in the other direction for a country hike. Or just make yourself at home in front of the cosy log-burner, work remotely with our super-fast wifi, or relax in the pretty garden.

Conkers Self-Contained Annexe near Avebury

Conkers is a spacious self-contained annexe within Chestnut House which has it's own private entrance and has recently been renovated to include a well equipped kitchen and luxurious bathroom. Sleeping for two adults is provided in a king-sized bed separated from an open plan living area by a bookshelf screen. A separate bedroom with two single beds (truckle) can accomodate two children/teenagers. Conkers is in the Avebury World Heritage site and within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The Stables is a 2 bedroom cottage in the heart of Swindon's vibrant Old Town, with private parking for 1 car. The ground floor provides a shower room and 2 large bedrooms, each with a double bed. On the 1st floor is an open plan space with lounge, dining and a fully fitted kitchen with cooker, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Externally is a gravelled garden perfect for alfresco dining. There are a variety of pubs, shops, restaurants, and parks all within close walking distance. Max. 4 people.

Enjoy your time at this unique and tranquil getaway, situated in a private south-facing garden with full access to a tennis court and basketball hoop. The Bungalow is neighbouring a 100 acres country park known as Coate Water Nature Reserve. Within the 100 acres are a lake, woodland, including an arboretum and many walking and cycling trails. Also within walking distance of the Bungalow are shops and a popular Local Pub. Old Town, Cinemas and the Swindon Outlet village are all close by.

The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.
