You can sit, unwind, and watch the wildlife with a distant view of Bald Knob Cross. The cabin sits in the heart of Shawnee National Forrest and the Southern IL wine trail. You can enjoy the fire pit while watching the stars, with no distractions from neighbors, traffic, or lights. You can enjoy catch & release fishing from the bank

The Muckley House- Vintage 1917 Landmark

You will be enjoying a 1917 Federal Style House that has been completely renovated. Your reservation includes the whole house. Price is 129.00 a night for 2 guests and 45.00 a night for each additional guest. Located within walking distance to sister Airbnbs, "The Choisser Burnett House" and "The Paddock". Whether traveling through and needing an easy one night stay or a weekend getaway, this is the place for you. Located in the quiet village of Whittington, the property has great access to the area while providing a peaceful stay on the edge of the country. Our property has multiple rental buildings, but there is plenty of parking space for anyone traveling with a pickup and trailer.
