Sanaigmore Cottage

Sanaigmore Cottage is a modern, warm, incredibly comfortable holiday home. Built in the traditional Isle of Islay style, the stylish interior of the holiday cottage is beautifully furnished and very well equipped – a real home from home. The property has 2 double rooms (en suite), 1 twin room (bathroom adjacent) and sleeps up to 6. Ground floor Relax in the spacious living room and dining room with French Doors opening onto the rear stone-walled garden - laid to grass with outdoor table and chairs. The perfect spot for a morning ‘cuppa’ or to sit and catch the last of the sun in the evening as you look out over the fields to Octomore Farm – their barley and water are used in iconic Bruichladdich malt whiskies. The superbly equipped kitchen looks out over the fields and walled garden. If you fancy a holiday ‘bake-off’ there are recipe books and baking kit aplenty. There is a separate utility room with access to the garden – excellent for rinsing off outdoor gear or doing a spot of mid-holiday laundry. Upper floor Two double rooms with kingsize beds look out to the front of the cottage. As you might expect from purpose-built accommodation, each double bedroom has its own en-suite facilities. The good-sized twin room is located next door to the main family bathroom. With two en-suite showers and a bath with shower upstairs (plus a toilet/shower room downstairs) there’ll be no need to form an orderly queue in the morning!

The Wee Hoosie

The Wee Hoosie offers you comfortable and cozy accommodation on a self-catering basis. The studio has a corner kitchen equipped with a full size cooker and fridge. There is an en-suite showerroom. The sun rises to the front and sets to the back, making this a light and bright space and with the wee garden with a patio to the rear you can enjoy a tiny home from home. There is private parking which affords more privacy. The studio is located in the garden of our home, we are on hand if required.

Beautiful granny flat with sea views, terrace, well-equipped kitchen and en-suite bathroom for up to 4 people. Unfortunately not suitable for dogs and small children. A further 3 rooms located in the main house can be additionally booked on Airbnb, also to provide a second bathroom. Please let me know via Airbnb Messenger who will be arriving and when so I can prepare the rooms. The sofa bed is a “small double” (1.20 m wide) and only suitable for one person, skinny couples or 2 children.

Pier House

Pier House is beautifully located with stunning views. A huge lounge with Juliette balcony. The house is presented over 2 floors with the living room on the upper floor to maximise the exceptional vista. The house has all modern facilities and comes well equipped and presented. There are 4 bedrooms, a main bathroom, a separate wc and the master bedroom is complete with its own en-suite and shower. The property is on the edge of the beach and next to the pier, utterly perfectly located.

The Black House, Islay

The Black House is a unique property situated between Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte on the island of Islay. We use the house for High School to save commuting from Jura every day so don’t expect a pristine holiday let but rather a loved family space. There are 2 double beds and 2 bunk bedrooms (if you’re a party of single adults then 4 is the maximum number). Views are stunning and Islay’s great for whisky, wildlife or just rest and relaxation. Portbahn holiday house, close to distillery

Portbahn was our family home before moving to Jura, and we hope you'll find it as welcoming as we did. This modern waterfront house sits right on Islay's scenic coastal route with stunning loch views. Sleeps 8 across 3 ground-floor bedrooms—perfect for families. Large enclosed garden with trampoline and swings. Walk to Bruichladdich Distillery (10 mins), beaches, and coastal paths. Underfloor heating and wood-burner make it cosy year-round. Dogs welcome. Croft Acre Holiday Pod

A cosy Pod on the edge of Port Charlotte. Nestled in the countryside on our small croft, the setting provides access to beautiful landscapes, local wildlife, a 5 minute walk to local amenities including a shop, pubs, restaurants, beaches, museum and island bus route. A 20 minute walk along the Lochindaal coastal path connects the neighbouring village of Bruichladdich, where you can enjoy a local coffee stop or experience a whisky tasting and tour at Bruichladdich Distillery.

The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

Bruichladdich Cottage

Bruichladdich cottage is situated on the seafront in the village of Bruichladdich overlooking Lochindaal and a few minutes walk from the famous Bruichladdich distillery. It has uninterrupted views across Lochindaal to the Paps of Jura and the Mull of Oa There is a grocery store and coffee shop two doors away and the pebble and sand beaches are in front of the cottage. Bruichladdich is two miles from Port Charlotte, a lovely walk along the new coastal walk and cycle path.
