Athenry has rail/bus connections with Dublin, Limerick and Galway City. An ideal spot from which to plan your excursions: head west to Galway City (23km); or southwest via Kinvara (24km) to the Burren (43km); and then to the Cliffs of Moher (70km). Or, go east to Loughrea (19km) where there's safe summer lake swimming.

Featuring a large double bedroom with 4 poster bed, a sleeping loft, suitable for children/young adults. Fully fitted Kitchen. Contemporary Shower room with Compost Toilet. In 2021 we've added a wood-fired sauna and hot/cold shower spa area available for guests on one* night of your stay, subject to arrangement.

Enjoy the peace and tranquility of a rural setting, 5 mins drive from Galway Bay Sailing Club and Renville Park and beaches. Close to the beautiful villages of Clarinbridge and Oranmore. Ideal location to visit The Burren, Galway City (30 mins) Galway Racecourse (15 mins) and Connemara. The large decking area is surrounded by lovely gardens and there is a polytunnel where guests can avail of seasonal veg. Convenient to the main Galway and Clare road yet located in a tranquil setting.

Romantic Hideaway - 1850's Schoolhouse

The Old Schoolhouse was built in 1850, and has been beautifully restored. It's got a long and rich history, dating back to the Irish Famine. My dad went to school here, we lived in it as a family growing up and I wanted to share some of the history of the buildng with visitors. It's been updated with fast (150mb) fiber internet, and it's very cozy and warm. We just added a modern, private workspace outside for remote working - fast internet, private, monitors, great for Zoom calls!

Welcome to our cosy 2 double bedroom chalet located close to the village of Craughwell and 25 minutes from Galway city. Enjoy walks in the country, dinner in a choice of local restaurants, a night on the town or just cosy up up in the comfort of our chalet. Fully eqipped with kitchen and all you need. Located less than an hour from Shannon airport, with free parking this is the ideal location to base yourself while exploring the Wild Atlantic Way, The Burren or Connemara .

Sycamore Cottage, 2 bedroom cottage beside the sea

Sycamore Cottage is a lovely detached cottage situated in the village of Killeenaran, fifteen miles from Galway. All ground floor the cottage can sleep four people in two double bedrooms one with an en-suite shower room as well as a family bathroom. Also in the cottage is a kitchen and sitting room with dining area and oil-burning stove. Outside is ample off road parking and a lawned garden with patio and furniture. Ideally a car is necessary when staying at this cottage.

Children are welcome to use the trampoline and anything else in the garden.
