Come getaway at our waterfront house located in Hartland Maine. This is a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the peaceful water while relaxing and having fun with your friends and family . A 30 min drive to downtown Waterville where you can find shopping and dining places for the whole family . Enjoy fishing , swimming and more right outside your door . The house also has a boat launch and dock for your boat if you choose to bring one. We hope you enjoy staying at our home.

Halcyon Ridge is owned by Lynn & Chuck Hadyniak, who live nearby. Lynn & Chuck moved out of New Jersey years ago to get away from the hustle & bustle, & raise a family in peace. They love Freedom for its quiet & natural beauty, & would love to host people at Halcyon Ridge who also want to escape the noise. Stargazers will be delighted: low humidity, expansive view of the southeastern sky, & next to no light pollution, make for wonderful viewing. Rest. Relax. Recharge.

The cabin features a comfy king bed, full kitchen, clean modern bath, and self check-in. Enjoy your morning coffee in the sunroom or take a short drive to explore Belfast and the coast. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Quick access off Route 2 and just minutes from Interstate 95. One room open concept cabin with a loft. 1 queen size bed in the loft, bunk twin beds down stairs, full bathroom with shower, full kitchen with pots/pans and utensils. Ladder to loft is just that, fairly steep and narrow. The address for this location is not recognized on maps. Directions will be provided. No wifi, no tv. Unplug and enjoy.

SNOW SWEET, A Yurt for All Seasons

Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

Artist’s Loft

Welcome to the artist’s loft! Our thoughtfully designed apartment boasts original works from a local artist, providing a serene escape just minutes from I95. Ascend the spiral staircase to discover a cozy bedroom complete with a work space and reading nook. Hidden up a trap door on the third level are two twin beds for the nimble. A full, private deck complete with a small fire pit is available in the warmer months. Your getaway awaits!
