With the beach a short 5 minute walk away and with unique sundown views into the Agulhas bush, this is a special haven that will provide you with the best of all worlds. Let the kids play some table tennis or games in the spacious garden, have a few sundowner drinks in the adjoining braai area and relax after a stunning day at the beach. Uitwaaien, a Dutch word meaning “to take a break to clear one’s head” or literally “to walk in the wind”, to refresh body and mind. With Philip’s Dutch heritage and our time living in the Netherlands, Uitwaaien holds special meaning for us. It reflects what we hope every guest experiences here: a place to breathe, restore, and reconnect.

Treyntjes Rivier Cottages are about 9 km from Caledon and 25 km from Hermanus. It can accommodate up to 4 persons Two bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathroom. The main bedroom with a king size bed, the second bedroom with 2 single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living area offers couches, Smart TV and WIFI Braai facilities are available in the garden. We no longer allow brides or grooms to get ready at our cottages on the day of their wedding. No day visitors
