The Dome

Welcome to The Dome; a unique, rustic, lakeside property. Located on Macpherson Lake, Guysborough Co, the dome offers the perfect setting to create lasting memories. Enjoy swimming and fishing off our private dock or take the paddleboat, paddle board, and kayaks out for a cruise. Soak in the sunshine on our large patio while sipping on a cold one. At night, stargaze while sitting around our wood and propane fire pits. If the ocean is more your style, a provincial beach is only 5 minutes away.

Relax in your cozy dome, offering panoramic views of the boundless ocean, expansive sky, and untouched wilderness. For 2026 we have added a beautiful new Sauna. Our new Sauna offers a peaceful wellness experience designed to complement the natural beauty of our site.

Wilderness

Escape to this serene waterfront dome, where comfort, style and nature collide. Sip from the fully stocked coffee & tea bar, cook in the equipped kitchenette and refresh in the spa-inspired bathroom. Cozy queen bed downstairs with panoramic views, loft queen bed for added stargazing, private hot tub, outdoor shower, wraparound deck with BBQ and screened gazebo with lounge chairs and propane fire table, plus a fire pit on the lawn—your ultimate adults-only waterfront retreat.

The Beaver Dome at Cabot Shores

This 16-foot diameter dome sits on a raised wooden platform in a secluded wooden area, overlooking Church Pond and the Atlantic Ocean. It has a double bed, and chairs to sit and look out of the bay window. Half of the roof is a skylight, so you can stargaze from bed! There's no electricity or source of heat, but battery powered lanterns are provided. There is an outhouse a one minute walk from the dome, and bathroom with shower located five minutes away in our Main Lodge.
