Waterfront Getaway with kayaks, jonboat, & fishing

This cozy cottage with amazing reading retreat is perfect for the adventurer at heart. Waterfront with 2 kayaks and a small boat with oars (trolling motor and battery for rent). 3 miles to the Beach. Fish for flounder, drum, crabs, etc from the backyard. Use the kayak or boat to explore a sand bar or just float around the Marsh. The View is amazing! Steps from the water. The home is on a Busy Road but once you enter the sunroom you feel like you are in paradise. There will be some road noise.

Little Coastal Cottage Shangri-LALA

Relax in this peaceful place which is located just over 5 miles to Emerald Isle bridge & 8 minutes from shopping, dining, and entertainment in Cape Carteret. Our little place provides 480 cozy sq. ft. with full kitchen, all cooking amenities, a large room with a loveseat pullout bed, dedicated work space, Wi-Fi, TV, and DVD (no cable) and Alexa. Washer and dryer, and regular tub for bathing or showering(filtered water). Enjoy sitting on the front porch in the evening for some nice down-time!

Conveniently located just 3 miles from the Emerald Isle beach bridge & less than 2 miles from historic downtown Swansboro. Many restaurants, breweries, shops, a farmer's market, family-friendly attractions, & grocery stores all within a 5 mile radius.

Enjoy beautiful views of Bogue Sound at the end of the road, with several places in the neighborhood to enjoy sunrises/sunsets. Coastal decor house 2 miles to Emerald Isle beach. 5 minute drive to grocery store, Fuzzy peach frozen yogurt, pizza shop, Starbucks, MacDaddys and Golphin Dolphin for putt-putt or go-carts, and to Star Hill Country Club. 30 minute drive to Morehead city or Jacksonville. Visit local produce stands and don’t forget the boiled peanuts! Plenty of parking if towing your boat or jet ski. Perfect neighborhood to bring your bicycles or jog.

Our waterfront paradise sits on a point on Queens Creek with a 180-degree view of the quarter-mile-wide estuary, just upriver from the Intracoastal Waterway and 5 miles from the ocean. We’ve rehabbed a 1959 fishing cottage, 2 bed, 2 bath surrounded by glass w/ kitchen and living facing the water.
