The home has two bedrooms, a bathroom, an open-plan kitchen & living area, and a deck. Get close to nature, look for as far as the eye can see, watch the tide come in and go out, hear the rain and the wind, unwind in the sunlight, and take in an uninterrupted view of the Milky Way on a clear night.

Cottage is 100 yards from mile-long sandy beach and Minaun Cliffs - among highest in Europe. The Toolis family have lived here for over 400 years. The deserted Dookinella stone village still stands in the field nextdoor. Keel village is a 5-minute drive with restaurants, local butcher selling Achill lamb and fisherman selling from boat. Surf school for all ages. Fabulous walks begin right at the door from easy to mountain hikes. Good for couples and families. Good WiFi. Wheelchair accessible.

Fantastic cycling routes from your doorstep. We have free range Chickens on site & can provide some eggs. We're sorry but we can't accommodate dogs as we have 2 of our own.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Ideal for walkers and cyclists. Just off the Greenway and on the Burrishoole Loop Walk. Grace O'Malley Rockfleet Castle at the end of the road with Roigh Pier close at hand. Located between Westport and Achill, looking across at Croigh Patrick. It is 9km from Newport & 11k from Mulranny. The House seats on the edge of a working farm with sheep over the fence. A small stream runs in front of the house.

Ballindooley Castle

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels

Cuckoo Wood Hexagon, 5km from Westport

This cabin has a hexagon shape with a square porch where the front door is. The Hexagon, as I call it, is situated on its own on land that is half orchard half woodland. On the morning sun side, where the door is, the decking leads to the little purpose built bathroom building. There is a perspex canopy so you can walk over staying dry even if it is raining. A few goats and a few hens roam in the adjoining field.
