Recently described as a hug of a home, come rest and relax in our holiday home. There is easy access to miles of beautiful walks in the Forest of Dean right from your front door. The area is popular for walking, mountain biking, SUPs, canoe hire and wild swimming. There is easy access to the River Wye for some stunning wild swims only a 20 minute walk through the village. There are 3 pubs, 2 churches, a hairdressers, a doctors surgery, a chippy and the excellent village shop with post office.

Hilltop Hideaway is a perfect romantic getaway set in the tranquil Forest of Dean. Newly converted, bedroom, shower room and an open plan kitchen/lounge. There are slide opening doors that lead onto the decking, with views towards The Wye Valley and beyond. The Hideaway offers a perfect romantic place to unwind and relax in the peaceful countryside. Separate annex in idyllic countryside location, beautiful walks, local country pub. Near to Croome Court National Trust. Close to M5 and M50. Self Catering private location. The annex is prepared to a high standard and we respect your privacy leaving you to enjoy your stay. The annex has a free sat TV, fully fitted kitchen, tea, coffee and milk are provided along with a selection of biscuits, fluffy white towels, and a comfy new bed. The sofa can convert to a double bed if required. Free WIFI.

Country cottage with private woodland and orchard.

Our beautiful beamed attached cottage complete with log burner is set in over 3 acres of private ancient woodland, in the Forest of Dean near the River Wye. The garden path leads down to a secluded orchard which is a haven for birds, deer & wildlife. The cottage is located in a quiet country lane, with walks to our local pub, The Ostrich Inn and the local town. We are close to all amenities, cycle trails, river activities and the best of what the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley has to offer.

Pat's Flat - peaceful stay on a beautiful farm.

Pat's Flat: a converted Pig Barn located on a peaceful farm, within the beautiful Wye Valley AONB. The historic towns of Monmouth and Ross on Wye, the river and Forest of Dean with their outdoor leisure activities - canoeing, paddle boarding, hiking, biking - are easily accessible. A couple of pubs, eateries and village shop are within a few miles walk. Sorry - no pets - this is a working farm and there are friendly Labradors in the adjoining property who are likely to come and say hello.

The Game Larders

Wythall is a half-timbered manor house in a secluded and idyllic setting with garden, fresh water lake, wooded grounds and vineyards. You will enjoy peace and quiet here and see an abundance of wildlife. Wine tastings and vineyard tours are also available via appointment. The Game Larders is completely self contained and situated in the west wing of the manor house. It is well equipped and furnished, with access to ample parking space and central heating throughout. Pets are welcome.

Wye Valley Forest Retreat

Located high in The Royal Forest of Dean, with breathtaking views across the Wye Valley and Black Mountains, a delightful and intimate cottage for up to 6 people and their dogs. Wye View Cottage

The semi- detached cottage is set in a peaceful location with breathtaking views of the Wye Valley. The cosy cottage is set in an ideal location for either a peaceful relaxing break or an active holiday with foot paths, bike trails, canoeing and rock climbing right on the door step. The cottage has its own garden with seating areas to sit and relax whilst taking in the panoramic views across the valley. There are a few traditional pubs and restaurants nearby.

Lambsquay Cottage

Lambsquay Cottage located in the picturesque Forest of Dean on the main road between popular tourist attractions, Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves. Good pubs serving food and drink within walking distance. The cottage has it's own garden with hot tub. 3 ensuite bedrooms with a sofa bed in the lounge. Cottage is at the back of the main house. Large Free carpark. The main Lambsquay House also has 2 apartments that can be booked separately. Minimum 3 night stay.
