French doors lead out from the bedroom onto an outdoor dining, bbq area and garden.

Located 5 minutes from heritage town Abbeyleix in co. Laois is Villa Jokubas a log cabin village set on a hill overlooking surrounding countryside. All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. This newly renovated cottage has maintained the handcrafted oak trusses originally sourced from Coolattin estate, making this an impressive and welcoming space. This beautiful cottage, includes a kitchen/ living area with its own wood burning stove, a double and twin bedroom with separate bath room and utility . This is a self-catering holiday property; guest will have the property to themselves.

The exposed granite walls, wood burning stove and sleepy surroundings will take you back to a different time, yet Maher’s Cottage also contains all the modern conveniences for an enjoyable stay.
