This unique apartment above a garage/shop , detached from the main house. Tucked away into a urban forest. I call it Our Robin's Nest because you look out on to branches of large fir trees. It is very private , yet Starbucks is right next door. Private entry and off street parking. This space has everything you need full kitchen, washer&dryer, queen size bed and fold out couch , plus a Play and Pack for the Littles. Walkable neighborhood , parks market and restaurants within walking distance.

The Story House

Between the lights of Portland and the slopes of Mt. Hood stands a whimsical woods of giant firs, feathery cedars and old mossy maples. Midst a maze of paths and ferns is a cozy cabin full of delightful art. Browse the uncommon birdhouses and their stories. Just steps outside the French doors is a lighted path to the bathhouse (the only bathroom) with toilet, shower, clawfoot tub and washer/dryer. Walk the paths, soak in the hot tub and end your day in the peace and quiet of a private cabin.

Safe, quiet and family friendly neighborhood with walkable distance to 2 parks. 10 minutes to the I-205 freeway and 25 min to PDX airport. Within 2 hours of the coast or Mt. Hood. Oregon City has several fun things to offer near by :: Food trucks, restaurants, brew pubs, shopping, coffee shops, free OC elevator with amazing views, End of the Oregon Trail museum, walking trails, Clackamas and Willamette rivers and so much more!

Charming cottage apartment on a garden and forest hill. Next to the Willamette River, 30 mins from downtown Portland. Relax, and enjoy the quiet and peaceful surroundings. Fully stocked kitchen. Fast wifi at 50 Mbps. Cozy inside in the wintertime, also with a park-like setting with walking access down the lush backyard to the river where you can enjoy swimming, fishing, kayaking, and bird watching. You can use the shared recreation room with ping pong, pool table, shuffleboard, and weights.

150 ft. walk down a steep driveway takes you to a unique private little studio with everything an adventurous spirit needs. We have friendly dogs you may see outside, and we do not allow pets. No smoking in the unit. There is a smoking hut on the property you are free to use should you choose to (bring a container with you to dispose the remnants). SE Portland is a 30 min drive and downtown Portland a 45 min drive. One hour to Mt. Hood, & falls in the Gorge. Pool open 6/15 through 9/5.

The Royal Scott Double Decker Bus

Our tiny home started life as a commuter bus in Manchester, England, in 1953, then did stints in San Francisco and Mt. St. Helens before finding a home as the Grilled Cheese Grill in Portland. Now it’s been reimagined as a mid century modern-inspired tiny home, with whimsical painting details from one of its former lives and fresh new handmade details that make it a cozy, inspiring stay. With unique vintage decor, this comfortable studio offers modern amenities in a peaceful country setting. The space has a private keypad entrance & 16 stairs (sorry, no elevator) to the guest studio attached to our home. Our friendly golden retriever Ollie will gladly greet you. Groceries & highway access are a mere 3 miles away. Portland is a short easy drive from our quiet country home.
