Roam freely through our 120 acres of gardens, farmland and woodlands, or enjoy a guided tour of our grounds and learn of present day efforts to transform our land into a nature reserve.

The Coach House

A newly renovated coach house in the heart of Portumna Town, close to Lough Derg, the River Shannon and the Forest Park. The accommodation comprises of a kitchen/dining, bedroom/ lounge and bathroom with an outside patio area including BBQ. Access is pedestrian through the front archway leading from the street. With added comfort of underfloor heating, and triple glaze windows, meaning cosy all year round. There is space for fishing gear and a fridge for storage of fishing bate and gear.

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

Cluain Woodland Yurt

Nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of East Clare, retreat from the busyness of life to a unique experience in nature. It’s a really beautiful and comfortable space with trees and a small forest. This semi off grid yurt is designed to provide you with comfort. The yurt is attached to a private kitchenette and a small bathroom with hot shower and a toilet.
