The cottage is attached to the main house, but is totally self-contained. There is onsite parking and fast broadband. We provide a complimentary welcome pack, including eggs from our Burford brown chickens and honey from the garden apiary.

Surrounded by beautiful Cotswold countryside, within walking distance of Blenheim Palace and an easy train, bus or car ride into Oxford.

Situated in a quiet location in the village of Stonesfield, Little Chestnut Cottage is a charming self-contained base from which to explore the Cotswolds and local attractions in the Oxford area such as Blenheim Palace. The cottage is just over an hour away from London yet surrounded by beautiful countryside and there are plenty of walks straight from the door across the picturesque Evenlode valley. Shakespeare’s Stratford is less than an hour away if you want to go a little further afield.

Slow down and recharge at The Old Smithy. Built about 600 years ago, this Cotswold stone blacksmiths forge has been transformed into a cosy retreat for two. Kingham is a highly sought after village in the heart of the Cotswolds. With a wealth of brilliant pubs and wonderful countryside walks on our doorstep, you can bring your dog along to enjoy too. The Kingham Plough and The Wild Rabbit, are a short walk away. Daylesford Organic Farm Shop and Bamford club a longer walk/short drive.

The Bothy is a totally unique and charming studio apartment, set in the rafters of a barn on our farm. You can swim in the natural swimming pool on your doorstep. There are fields beyond for walking or cycling. It's a wonderful, peaceful setting for those who want to get some calm space. Fresh air in the summer, cosy rural retreat in the winter. It can also be used as an extra double annex to our other holiday let, the Luxury Barn on AirB&B.
