There is no beach access from the property but we're just a short walk to the Alders Beach which offers long stretches of sand for walking, swimming and exploring tidal pools. Plenty of fresh or saltwater fishing to choose from so don’t forget the rod!

Close by: Kingfisher Resort and Spa is a 5 minute drive away for pampering yourself with a good meal or spa treatments. Mt Washington Alpine Resort is 45 minutes away for skiing cross country or downhill in the winter, and hiking in the summer. Seaside swimming, reading and relaxing!

This custom timber frame chalet has been rebuilt from the ashes of the old chalet that was originally built in the 80's. Basecamp Chalet gives guests the opportunity to gaze over Strathcona Park, watch the sunrises, sunsets, and moonscapes, and have a the perfect spot to experience storm watching and the snow flakes fall. Walking and hiking trails right outside the front door. A perfect getaway in any season. You will be renting the upper main two floors of the chalet.
