By NIGHT you can sip a glass and watch the fabulous sunsets, have a BBQ or toast marshmallows over a pot bellied fire under a blanket of stars.

We are next door to Leebeen Park with its beautiful playground and lake and a short 2 minute drive to scenic lakes of Lough Gowna. Lovely spot for fishing lovers and kayaking.1 Minute walk/drive tothe local pubs/shops and a short 5 min drive to nearby villages Arva and Lough Gowna. 15 minute drive to Longford Town and a 20 minute to Cavan Town centre.

We aim to keep everything simple and comfortable so you can feel at ease - whether you’re passing through for a night or staying longer to explore the area. I am happy to recommend local walks, riverside stops, or cosy places to eat nearby.

Curragha house is located 2 miles from the town of drumshanbo with very pleasant surroundings, great views and walks. Also to note we have a golden retriever pup at ours home called Marley who is very friendly. 🐶
