The home is located in historic Hayes Barton, close to downtown Raleigh and Glenwood South district. Hayes Barton is a safe, shady historic neighborhood with cafes, restaurants and breweries within walking distance. Woodleaf Wayside

An 1850s cottage listed on the National Register of Historic Places was the Plantation Office for the Massenburg Plantation (Woodleaf). It was restored in 1990 and afterwards, became rental property. This two-story, cozy hideaway has a private drive and patio. Native stone and hand hewn beams in basement bedroom provide an unique stay. Full kitchen, modern bathroom, and washer/dryer. Come and go at your leisure. You will receive a keypad combination a day before your scheduled check-in.

Antler & Oak (Wheless Farms, LLC)

Set in the country for a Peaceful setting where you can hear the birds sing and see our beautiful flowers and enjoy sitting on the front porch and relaxing. We originally started as a Bed & Breakfast called Antler & Oak in Franklin County, located just north of Raleigh and East of Wake Forest. The place is 100 years old, renovated the front portion for use to accommodate guests. Guests have full access to the space including a full kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms & 2 1/2 baths.

About 100 yards from the farm house, the cabin is a renovated tobacco barn with a sleeping loft, full kitchen, bathroom (with a shower and composting toilet), and living area. Meet the pigs and chickens. Lay in the hammock. Listen to bird calls. During June and July u-pick blueberries will be available for harvest for $3.50/lbs.

Please be aware that we do have 2 dogs. They are very friendly and will sniff and whine when she meets you (see pictures). Very cozy and private space with a private entrance above the garage. Fully equipped gym in the garage. All appliances were purchased new as of 2021. Vinyl plank flooring installed 2021 as well. Recently repainted. Best part about this space is you get the country experience with 200 Mbps download speeds. If you need the air mattress let us know.

It has easy access to Highway 264 , interstate 64, I540 and Interstate I440 to I40. It is a great Central location for Raleigh, Knightdale, Wendell Zebulon,Garner, and Rocky Mount. Note: this house is not handicap accessible however there is a ramp with a small step up. 2 tub showers; No walk in shower.
