A country getaway on 5 acres. A neat little cottage with 2 bedrooms, and a 3rd bedroom/granny flat detached from main house on 5 acres. Close to town (6km) in the South Burnett region, with easy getaways to cycle trails, state forest, local sights with lots of local food and delicacies. NOTE: We have had request for families with infants. There is unfenced dam on the property, and we have been advised not the take bookings with infants. No work bookings please, as we have had bad experiences.

Art's hut is a 1930's couples retreat nestled amongst a country garden and Glendale homestead. The hut is the foundation building of a family working cattle stud "Graneta". This cottage has peaceful country charm, well situated at the foothills of the Bunya Mountains and only 4kms from the quaint town of Bell which has plenty to see and do. Only 33kms drive to the heritage-listed Jimbour house and the beautiful Bunya Mountains which is a lovely drive with spectacular views and great walks.

The new kitchen & living area enjoys country views with fireplace, air-conditioning & smart TV with Foxtel. We breed dropers, have 2 alpacas and frequent sightings of koalas. We are located across a tiny creek, up a 1km winding, gravel driveway where the cottage is semi-privately set into the bush. At night, you might see the wallabies munch and bandicoots dig, and if lucky, the possums may come down from the trees for a treat. During the day you may catch sight of a lace-monitor lizard which may come running for a treat.
