Relax in the main cabin, soak in the 2-person hot tub (if available) ,or take a romantic stroll through the wooded trails. Decks, trails, and boathouse access are included.

The Cabin on Panther Branch

Drive down Kentucky scenic highway 89 South just 9 miles south of McKee. The cabin is newly built and set back in a secluded area with a small creek running right beside the cabin and a larger creek just across the road. The Cabin on Panther Branch is a perfect place to come fish and kayak on the creek. Bring your ATV’s, side by side or dirt bikes and enjoy miles and miles of riding in S-Tree Tower in the Daniel Boone National Forest. We don’t think you will be disappointed with your stay.

Looking for seclusion? How about relaxing in a hot tub on a cliff?! Romance on the Rocks rests on and between HUGE BOULDERS providing an intimate and private setting. There are all kinds of places to relax here - the front porch, side porch, upper balcony outside the loft, the loft has a king size bed, a jacuzzi tub that can provide a spectacular view (see photo in listing) and, of course, the hot tub tucked under the rockface. The two door "saddlebag" cabin is surrounded by the Daniel Boone National Forest and near McKee, a Kentucky Trailtown. Nestled in a small valley, our quaint cabin is the perfect mountain getaway. Built in 1894, by the Lakes family, it has a romantic, rustic and nostalgic feel. If you are a history buff, interested in Appalachian culture, or just want a charming, outdoorsy and secluded getaway, this cabin is for you. Our cabin is in a fairly remote area with large parking to accommodate trailers and a full 50 amp RV hook up for additional charges. Relax in the two person hot tub, stroll the 1/4 mile hiking trail, or just enjoy a cup of coffee on the patio while seeing the wildlife.

Seclusion is a completely custom, hand-crafted cabin complete with a treehouse room, koi pond, rocky landscape, observatory tower and more in an unbeatable location. This cabin is located just a mile or two off the Slade, KY exit on top of a ridge in Red River Gorge. Built by Paul Rhodes in his spare time, this passion project took over six years to complete and boasts a uniqueness unrivaled by other accommodations.
