This summer home is located at the head of Herring Cove; there is 48m of waterfront. Have fun exploring, roaming the rocks or kayaking the Cove of this private shore. We have a kayak for your pleasure. Enjoy the spectacular view from the hot tub or the spacious deck. Herring Cove has much to offer with its hiking, sight seeing, simply sitting at the dock, or visiting our popular Pavia Cafe. It is a 15 minute drive to Downtown. This is a great spot for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts.

This adorable completely re-modeled cottage is steps away from the beautiful, sandy, salt water beach known as Coolen's Beach in Shad Bay, Nova Scotia. Twenty minutes from Halifax with hiking, kayaking, golf courses and restaurants all close by and scenic Peggy's Cove a short 20 minute drive away. We have created a charming and super comfortable retreat. We are sure our guests will enjoy the relaxing, peaceful vibe that this hidden little gem offers.

The Cape -Vacation Beachfront -Cozy Staycation

Looking for a quiet beach front Staycation/Vacation? The Cape is perfect year round, located on Shad Bay just 25min from downtown Halifax and 15min from Peggy’s Cove. It has spectacular views from it’s two tiered back deck, 50’ wharf and your own private beach, where you can enjoy the water, sand, beach toys, 2 kayaks and paddle board. With patio doors all along the back, the kitchen, dining and main living space, have breathtaking views.
