The cottage is located with shared parking next door to a restaurant that we also own; the best wood fired pizza around! If you love tranquil cozy cabins in the woods, you will love Sylvatica Ecolodge! Sylvatica is a latin word meaning "of the forest" and this lodge is exactly that. It's a 4-acre property adjacent to the Hiawatha National Forest with a very diverse mature hardwood forest, a 0.5 acre planted prairie, a pond, woodland plant gardens, and butterfly/hummingbird gardens. The property includes a 0.3 mile long interpretive nature trail explaining the natural environment and history.

This home features 2 beds, 1.5 baths, and one sofa bed to sleep up to 6 people comfortably. Completely remodeled 2022.

Security cameras on premises and parking on the avenue or in the private large driveway in the back. Plenty of room for a boat.

Nothing on Washington Island is far, but this is the furthest you can go to "Get Away". The property sunrise/moonrise views are outstanding.. year-round. Star gazing is amazing.
